  • Developed and implemented short and long-term business/strategic plans, work plans, risk assessments, cost savings initiatives, and project plans for the success of small to large capital projects from start to finish. 
  • Developed, negotiated, and managed various types of agreements, such as but not limited to, water taking agreements, industrial & commercial agreements for Canal operations, lease agreement for new business development initiatives, office leases, tenant agreements, municipal access agreements, support structure agreements, rooftops & water towers, support structure agreements, greenfield agreements, building access agreements, indigenous permits, license agreements, crossing agreements, fiber swap agreements, registered instruments (easements), bridge crossing agreements, master agreements, Parks Canada agreements, and marina leases.
  • Worked with 3rd party contractors to ensure all construction activities from start to finish adhere to governing laws and regulations.
  • Supporting organizations the corporate cost recovery of assets and preparation of budgets for capital projects.
  • Ensured all due diligence requirements (geotechnical, environmental assessment, Species at Risk, MECP regulatory requirements, risk assessments, engineering drawings, construction approvals, adhering to municipal by-laws, NPCA, public consultations, etc.) were completed effectively.
  • Strong ability to view company objectives as big picture and assess impacts to an organization from a legal and regulatory perspective while managing contractual obligations and company assets.
  • Effective communications skills to hold leadership roles in cross-functional work teams directing capital projects upwards of $25 million for operating budgets and managing public and private lands, buildings, and infrastructure. 
  • Ability to engage and develop long lasting business relationships external stakeholders such as local, provincial, and federal government representatives, Indigenous groups, utility companies, telecommunication companies, commercial and industrial companies, property owners, regulatory agencies, and elected officials.

I am a Senior Level Project/Program consultant with over 30 years of work expertise in the business sectors of Railway, Marine,  Telecommunications, Non-for-Profit, Tourism, Federal, Municipal and Provincial governments in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. 

I have had the pleasure of working and living across Canada as far West as Vancouver Island to Inuvik, NWT, Baker Lake, Nunavut, across the Prairies to the Atlantic Provinces.
